Role
As a Senior Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring continuous production across a complex and fast-moving manufacturing environment.

You will perform critical maintenance and troubleshooting on facilities and utilities systems, including large HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and dehumidifiers, ensuring operational uptime and peak plant performance.


You’ll also mentor newer technicians, collaborate with external vendors on complex repairs, and take ownership of maintaining site safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on utility and production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with production teams to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance with minimal downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including logs, checklists, and repair documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance needs.
  • Train and mentor new technicians, sharing best practices and hands-on knowledge.
  • Promote a clean and organized workspace aligned with 5S3R standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain; Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container).
  • Always perform work in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.


Essential Requirements

  • 15+ years of maintenance experience
  • Experience with facilities and utilities equipment, particularly HVAC, boilers, chillers, and dehumidifiers
  • High School Diploma or GED; further technical training is a plus.
  • Physically able to work in PPE (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toed shoes) for extended shifts (up to 12 hours).
  • Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing overhead or repetitive movements.

Preferred Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Vocational certification (e.g., journeyman).
  • Associate degree in a relevant field
