The Role
They are hiring a Head of PV Service to lead a nationwide service team responsible for delivering world-class technical support across solar inverter systems. This is a hybrid leadership role; blending people management, technical oversight, and strategic delivery, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team scaling.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Service for North America and be responsible for managing four sub-teams spanning field service, technical support, engineering, and asset management. This is a high-impact opportunity to help shape a growing service infrastructure in one of the most critical sectors of clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the PV service function across the US, overseeing team performance and customer experience
Set and track KPIs related to service response time, issue resolution, commissioning quality, and performance reporting
Work closely with operations and engineering teams to improve tooling, workflows, and documentation
Resolve escalated technical issues that could lead to LDs or customer dissatisfaction
Drive consistency in service standards by implementing SOPs and building a performance dashboard
Requirements
5+ years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in the solar PV sector
Previous leadership of technical teams in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of PV systems, field service operations, and service engineering
Proven ability to manage customer escalations and deliver timely resolutions
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in the solar, battery, or power electronics sectors is required
Willingness to travel nationally (approx 30%)
