Over the past three years, we've worked alongside the leadership team of North America's market-leading Utility BESS business, helping build one of the industry's strongest commercial organizations.

Having successfully supported a significant number of the team's commercial appointments, we've once again been retained to identify two experienced Sales Managers / Key Account Managers to support the next phase of growth.
This isn't simply another sales role.

The Business

Our client has established itself as the clear market leader in utility-scale battery energy storage across North America.

The business combines U.S. manufacturing, industry-leading hardware, advanced energy optimization software and proven execution capability to deliver some of the continent's largest and most complex energy storage projects.

Today, the team is on track to deploy more than 30GWh of battery energy storage this year, with a long-term vision to scale annual deployments dramatically over the coming years.

As utilities, IPPs, developers and hyperscale data center operators continue investing in grid infrastructure, the business remains at the center of many of the industry's largest commercial opportunities.

Unlike many OEM sales teams, success here isn't built around individual hunters generating opportunities from scratch. You will be joining 16 of the very best in the industry.

Instead, the commercial organization operates as a highly collaborative team, bringing together Sales, Applications Engineering, Proposals, Commercial, Legal and Executive Leadership to secure and deliver some of North America's largest infrastructure projects.

You'll inherit strategically important customer relationships and work alongside experienced colleagues to expand existing partnerships, manage complex procurement processes and negotiate long-term commercial agreements.
It's a genuinely strategic sales environment where teamwork consistently outperforms individual heroics.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with experienced commercial professionals who can demonstrate:
  • A successful track record selling Utility Scale Battery Energy Storage solutions.
  • Strong relationships across utilities, IPPs, developers and EPCs.
  • Experience managing complex, long-cycle infrastructure sales.
  • The ability to navigate commercial, contractual and technical discussions with executive stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach to winning strategic business.
