Role Summary As a Specialist II, Procurement, you will play a key role in managing indirect material procurement activities—including construction and production-related purchases—for a large-scale manufacturing environment. You will coordinate purchasing operations, vendor sourcing, and contract management to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement. This role supports global sourcing initiatives and contributes to maximizing investment efficiency and overall business competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement activities for indirect materials, including construction, maintenance, and production-related goods and services
Conduct cost analysis, price negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives to enhance investment efficiency
Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) for goods, services, and installations
Track and manage order status, delivery schedules, and payment processing
Support plant expansion projects by sourcing and managing qualified suppliers for construction and engineering services
Maintain and develop supplier relationships to ensure quality, performance, and compliance
Register new vendors and maintain accurate supplier records in procurement systems
Prepare and deliver monthly reports on purchasing activity, spend performance, and supplier metrics
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs and manage procurement requests
Lead or support contract negotiations, renewals, and execution of vendor agreement
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in construction procurement, such as factory construction, architectural, or electrical engineering projects
Proven experience in global sourcing, vendor management, and contract administration for construction and indirect procurement
Strong understanding of cost structures, pricing models, and budget control in procurement operations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours to support collaboration with global headquarters and international sites
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean (spoken and written)
