We are partnered with one of the world’s most prominent solar and energy storage manufacturers. This well-known organization provides a high-quality ESS solution to all market segments, particularly C&I and utility, with a strong portfolio of completed storage projects in the US and globally.
Due to significant investment, they seek to double their US team numbers from 200 to 400 people within the next two years. Energy storage is currently the smaller division but will see most of the growth, offering outstanding career advancement opportunities joining at this earlier stage.
Role
They are seeking an elite Sr. Director of Project Management to lead their PV and energy storage teams in flawlessly executing renewable energy projects. Reporting to the President and partnering with business unit leaders, you will drive operational excellence and bolster project success from contract to completion.
Overseeing all aspects of project management, you will ensure on-time product delivery and commissioning through systematic tools, stellar communication, and resource coordination across departments. They need a leader who can liaise with customers, provide technical guidance, and continuously improve workflows.
In this role, you will direct a large number of Senior Project Managers and associated staff while working closely with HQ to align product, manufacturing, PMO, and partners. We are seeking someone passionate about operational excellence who can minimize risks, meet business objectives, and evaluate team performance.

Requirements
- Minimum total of Twelve years’ experience in the renewable industry.
- Minimum Ten years in a project management role from any of the following industries, such as global OEM, PV, energy storage, battery manufacturer, or system integrator.
- Minimum Six years’ direct management experience, able to lead the team and drive for excellence.
- Deep knowledge of PV and battery system installation, construction, labor estimation, and different site layout etc.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong ability to interpret complex contract language.
- Proven negotiation skills with project stakeholders.
- Past experience in supply chain and mass production is a strong plus.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Thorough understanding of local jurisdiction requirements, NFPA, NEC/UL code, Electrical Safety Regulation, IBC etc.
- Good technical writing skills and being able to draft working instructions or working guidelines proficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.
- Previous direct power conversion or battery system experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated, team player, and quick learner.
- Bachelor's degree as minimal, Master's in engineering is a plus.
