The role
Develop competitive ESS solutions that meet customer and market across the Americas. As a technical expert, engage with owners, engineers, and EPC partners during design and construction. Key Responsibilities:
- Review ESS project RFPs, specifications, and customer requirements to define technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop competitive technical proposals and system solutions.
- Support project execution by assisting in BOS design, third-party engineering studies, and EPC system-level design.
- Provide technical expertise on ESS product applications, specifications, and customer inquiries.
- Maintain technical documentation including managing product updates and technical changes.
- Support contract reviews to identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Travel with sales teams to provide technical support and showcase product advantages at meetings and trade shows.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with UL, IEEE, IEC, NEC, and NFPA.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in power and renewable energy
- Technical ESS experience for industrial or utility scale projects
- Degree qualified in engineering
- Background in a technical role such as product, application, or project engineering
- Presales experience strongly preferred such as supporting sales meetings, system sizing, or technical contract reviews
- Spanish and English language skills
