With a 10+ GWh project pipeline and over 230 professionals already on board, their U.S. division is scaling fast, and they’re now hiring a Site Service Manager to lead operations and service at one of their flagship BESS sites.
The Role:
As Site Service Manager, you’ll oversee all on-site service, maintenance, and operationa
l activities for a remarkable BESS project in both size and technology. You’ll lead a team of Field Service Technicians and Engineers, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient system performance while meeting contractual availability targets. Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and vendors, you’ll coordinate service delivery, drive technical excellence, and uphold the highest safety and compliance standards.
This opportunity offers a 10% bonus, with potential to increase up to 17.5%.
Responsibilities Include:

Leading site-level O&M operations for BESS, ensuring system reliability and contractual availability performance

Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of Field Service Technicians and Engineers

Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with OEM standards

Serving as the main customer interface for site service issues, escalations, and support

Overseeing vendor activity and site financials (POs, invoices, and dispute resolution)

Ensuring compliance with all safety procedures, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements

Maintaining site records, service logs, and performance reports

Supporting remote troubleshooting, firmware updates, and service tool readiness

Driving continuous improvement through lessons learned and design-for-serviceability feedback
The Candidate:
- Strong background in O&M engineering/management, within utility-scale renewable or power systems (BESS, solar, wind, or conventional generation).
- Strong technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to support troubleshooting when required.
- Experience managing teams of at least five technicians or engineers and overseeing maintenance workflows, work orders, and site performance.
- Excellent communication skills and calmness under pressure when dealing with customers, vendors, and on-site challenges.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power/Energy Engineering preferred; approximately 10 years of field experience may substitute for a degree.
