As the company expands, the Construction Manager role takes center stage across all projects. This person won't just oversee installs but will be a leader, guiding and mentoring the construction team as needed.
Responsibilities
- The company are seeking an experienced and driven individual, who can lead a team, ensuring they are organized for their upcoming work. (3-4 weeks in advance).
- Monitor performance and coordinate work to maintain productivity of trades, ensuring adequate manpower for the work in place.
- Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite, providing key responsibility for safety compliance in the field.
- Enforce quality and customer service standards.
- Work on-site daily, managing projects and offering expertise to colleagues.
- Occasionally work in the office on administration tasks such as scheduling and procurement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 Years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager, preferably from the solar industry.
- Local market experience and subcontractor relationships
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve field issues with subcontractors, design team and/or owner.
- Experience managing teams of contractors and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of construction technology.
- Reside in or around the Bay Area, California
