The role This is a high-impact technical role supporting the successful delivery of utility-scale energy storage systems in the U.S. and Canada. You’ll work across engineering, product, and commercial teams to ensure products align with local standards, certifications, and market expectations. While the core platform is globally developed, this role plays a critical part in shaping how it’s adapted and positioned for the North American market—providing technical leadership, market insight, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical liaison between HQ and North America teams
Guide alignment of product specifications with local standards and customer needs
Lead technical support for certification processes (e.g., UL 9540)
Provide Tier 2 product support to sales, customers, and engineering partners
Influence global product evolution through local market insights and feedback
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field
3+ years’ experience in energy storage, power electronics, or renewable energy
Deep understanding of ESS technology and standards (e.g., UL 9540, IEC 62443)
Ability to interpret technical needs and communicate requirements effectively
Strong technical writing skills
Self-starter with excellent collaboration and communication skills across international teams
Experience working with overseas product development teams (preferred)
Familiarity with North American certification processes (preferred)
