Join a global power electronics manufacturer that’s already a serious player across solar and energy storage, with projects deployed across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America.
The company has recently made a big push into utility-scale battery storage, and that part of the business is now moving quickly. The product is in the market, early projects are live, and demand in North America is starting to build real momentum. This hire is about accelerating that growth.
The Role
As Utility Sales Manager, reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll play a key role in scaling the utility-scale BESS business across North America.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Growing relationships with developers, IPPs, utilities, and EPCs
- Expanding existing conversations into long-term project pipelines
- Positioning the company’s BESS platform in competitive tenders
- Working closely with engineering and product as the offering continues to evolve
You’ll have the backing of a large, established organisation — but with the chance to make a visible impact as this part of the business scales.
Who This Works For
This role suits someone who’s comfortable selling complex energy infrastructure and enjoys having room to shape how a territory develops.
You’ll likely bring:
- Experience in utility-scale renewables, energy storage, or power equipment sales
- A track record of building relationships and winning trust with senior stakeholders
- Confidence running long, technical sales processes
- A commercial mindset and the patience to play the long game
Why This Opportunity Is Interesting
- Strong growth runway
Utility-scale storage is a major focus area for the business, with real investment behind it.
- Early influence
You’re joining while the North American storage team is still taking shape.
- Backed, not fragile
This isn’t a startup — manufacturing, product, and capital are already there.
- Long-term upside
As the business scales, the people who helped build it are well placed to grow with it.
This role offers the chance to grow something meaningful inside a company that already knows how to execute at scale.
